VET FEE-HELP morphs into VET Student Loans

Written by Bruno Cozzi | 22/12/2016

There’s a reason our VET FEE-HELP (VET Student Loan) providers love using Bluegem.

Reporting your HEPCAT data this year will be more intense than ever, with the the transition from 2016 to the new VET Student Loans (VSL), which applies to new students from 1st Jan 2017. Note that there are 3 major reports to be provided 9th Dec 2016 and then 13th Jan 2017. What you need as a VSL Provider is a good system and a reliable partner to help you navigate these uncharted waters. particularly in the early days when nobody can tell you what’s going to happen.

Our VET Student Loans module will help you with Student applications, tracking activities in relation to your Census dates, managing curriculum to map Unit of Study, HEPCAT reporting, Notice to Invoice, Commonwealth Assistance Notices (CAN) and all the complex financial and compliance reporting associated with administering the loan.

When will it be released?

As soon as we’re confident that any reporting changes to the reporting elements are clearly understood. It generally takes us a quarterly release to properly implement a major compliance change, fully tested, released to Beta for customer evaluation and finally deployed to production sites for full operational use. That will be in plenty of time for your reporting to the new standards.

Needless to say, all our RTO solutions fully comply with AVETMISS 7, USI, RAPT, VRQA, all SRTO 2015 requirements and, comming soon AVETMISS 8.

Feel free to contact the friendly team at Bluegem and we’ll give you a complete run through all the features. If you like what you see you can have a trial system to play with. We’re confident you’ll like what we’ve spent the last year building and perfecting.
